Lead Sound Technician

Dennis Bronson

What do you mean its not loud enough?

Thank you for visiting our web site ,

and especially for visiting my corner of cyber space.

As “lead sound technician” it’s my job not only to mix the sound for the worship team, and the other singers and musicians.

It’s also to train new volunteers, maintain the system, recommend new equipment, and to upgrade the system.  Just upgraded to a Roland TD-12 drum module, very cool.

I would also like to share some of the knowledge I’ve picked up over the last 15+ years I’ve been blessed to do this ministry.

Below are a couple of links for sites that have some good info I’ve found useful

        http://www.prosoundweb.com/

You can subscribe to Church Production magazine for free.

Please join me in prayer as we strive to acquire new equipment for our church, here is a short list of what we are looking at.

Digital console – Look for the QSC & M&W Pro Audio (M&W is Mackie and Watts) Digital console.

Personal monitoring system- If you’ve looked at Hearback or Aviom, check this out Behringer  Powerplay 16 P16-M   http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/P16-M.aspx

Line array- This is what I’m talking about! http://www.jblpro.com/catalog/general/ProductFamily.aspx?FId=89&MId=2

Subwoofers- They don’t all have to be big - http://www.jblpro.com/catalog/general/Product.aspx?PId=191&MId=2

New keyboard 76 key – any suggestions?

Acoustic treatments – best price - http://www.samsclub.com/sams/search/searchResults.jsp?searchCategoryId=all&searchTerm=acoustic+panel&fromHome=yes&_requestid=255389

No matter how many pieces of modern equipment we use in our worship to Jesus, it’s still all about Him.

I invite you to come and join our worship to our Savior, with or without microphones, mixers, and amps.

See the home page for service times, and location of the church.

Thank you, Dennis Bronson
